The Fatherhood Games at Fontanel

On Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 – Father’s Day weekend – come experience Nashville’s Premiere 5K wooded Trail Race  in the rolling hills of the beautiful Whites Creek Valley. Set your own pace through one of the most scenic 5K courses in Tennessee as you race across the beautiful estate of the Fontanel Mansion, former home to Hall of Fame country musician Barbara Mandrell.
Included with each paid registration is: a race shirt, free continental breakfast, tasty snacks, bottled water, good music and hot air balloon rides –in other words, great fun and an excellent value for the whole family!
This premier running event is hosted by Family Foundation Fund whose mission is to help at-risk young men whose fathers are absent in their lives.
Following the chip-timed, USTAF measured 5K on Nashville’s Premier Trail Run, The Fatherhood Games kicks off. Imagine your middle school field day, but bigger. The Games include an obstacle course, dodgeball, cliff hanger, pass, punt, kick and much more! So skip the tie and brunch this year for Father’s Day. And bring your dad, mom, grandparents, entire family, and/or church group out to have some fun, make memories and, most importantly, make a difference.
