Fontanel Nashville

Welcome to Fontanel

Fontanel can be anything you want it to be – a luxurious accommodation, wedding venue, outdoor festival event, concert grounds, photo shoot backdrop, a place for adventure, and much more. Whether you’re a tourist or Tennessee local, music fan or outdoor enthusiast, there’s something for you at Fontanel!

Unparalleled in its variety of offerings, it has become Nashville’s all-encompassing, premier destination and tourist attraction. The attractions that make up the Fontanel complex are all inspired by Nashville’s natural scenery, outstanding music, and good ol’ Southern hospitality.

But Fontanel is more than just a tourist destination. It’s a home. Tucked away in the heart of the estate is the Mansion at Fontanel, which was once the home of country music megastar Barbara Mandrell and her family. Today, it’s home to multiple artist displays and memorabilia from artists like Kenny Chesney, Alabama, Big & Rich, Jewel and more. It’s a place to enjoy a variety of music in a unique and intimate setting; from a major concert tour, to a back yard performance by one of Nashville’s best local bands.

The beautiful log home, designed by Mandrell herself and homegrown architect Seab Tuck of Tuck-Hinton architects (Country Music Hall of Fame, Frist Center, Music City Center, Nashville Public Square), embodies the luxurious, but family and nature-oriented lifestyle of the Mandrells. The same atmosphere can be enjoyed at the Inn at Fontanel, an elegant and rustic boutique-style accommodation located near Cafe Fontanella, where guests enjoy authentic Italian and Southern meals while basking in rousing, live music. Check out live music 7 days a week including Saturday and Sunday brunches…all just “three songs” from Downtown Nashville.

For a dose of adrenaline, visitors may head down to the Trails at Fontanel and zip-line with Adventureworks beneath a lush canopy of trees. Or, they can leisurely enjoy the pet-friendly nature path that winds through the Whites Creek valley forest. There are over 16 structures in the estate, including a satellite tasting room of a nearby vineyard and winery, a traditional distillery, a historic stone house, and a number of venue options for a range of events.

The Fontanel complex is likewise the perfect place for amazing weddings, elegant dinner parties, corporate events, outdoor festivals, romantic getaways and family shindigs.

There are several areas throughout the estate where visitors can witness the beautiful rolling hills of the valley. On top of that, guests will enjoy full-service amenities, from a made to order breakfast, transport and cleaning services, guided tours, and anything you’d expect in a luxury environment.

On top of being an intimate venue for private events with indoor and outdoor venues, Fontanel is open to the public every day and hosts must-see musical events at the Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater. Anyone can drive down to the property and have an afternoon picnic with the family, or take the scenic tree-lined trail.

There are just not enough words to express how beautiful Fontanel is — you’ll have to see it for yourself. Explore our website to discover the many attractions that make up the estate. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call for more information.
